Who We Are
We are a Juniors troop within the San Fernando Valley Girl Scout Council.
The girls are encouraged to be independent, free thinkers and to work together to meet common goals. Through empowerment; creating their own rules, self governance, and Leader guided activities, the girls grow into the image we hold for them; good people, good citizens with a positive self esteem.
In addition troop activities to foster individual growth and develop a sense of community, Troop 1399 pursues various events that are enriching and enjoyable for the girls.
About Girl Scouts
The Girl Scout program is based on the Girl Scout Promise and Law and four fundamental goals that encourage girls to:
• Develop to their full potential.
• Relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect.
• Develop a meaningful set of values to guide their actions and to provide for sound decision-making.
• Contribute to the improvement of society.
